Volunteer at Live Remote VEX Worlds

We hope you will join us this year as we expand to serve the largest number of student competitors at the first-ever Live Remote VEX Robotics World Championship presented by Northrop Grumman Foundation, held May 17-29, 2021.

Judges are critical to the scholastic sport of competitive robotics, and we realize the commitment it takes to volunteer as a judge. This year, it will take more dedicated volunteers than ever to make our judging program a success as we have expanded the number of divisions and programs for students.

Please consider volunteering as a remote judge in April and/or May (see below dates) for Live Remote VEX Worlds.

Judging will be conducted online in 3-hour shifts. Judges may volunteer for as many shifts as they are able on the following dates (shown in US Central Time):

Remote judges will receive online training and volunteer recognition. Most judging will take place before the remote competition portion of VEX Worlds, so you will not miss out on any of the action! You will be able to watch Remote Skills and Live Remote Tournament matches via live stream.

We cannot serve our VEX Worlds community of participants without your support. We hope you will join us as a remote judge this year and encourage others within your program to do so as well. Help us spread the word to others with this printable invite.

Login to our Volunteer Management System to get started and register to volunteer, today.

If you have any questions, please email volunteer@roboticseducation.org. We look forward to seeing you (remotely) at Live Remote VEX Worlds 2021!

Volunteer Background Check Policy

In the best interest of our students, and for the safety of everyone participating in VEX Worlds 2021, we are requiring all volunteers to undergo criminal background screenings that comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The REC Foundation partners with the industry leader in volunteer screening services, Sterling Volunteers, to provide a secure online volunteer screening platform that allows the volunteer to enter and control their information when ordering a background check. Please direct any questions or concerns regarding the background screening process to hr@roboticseducation.org.
