February Partner Update

February 4, 2020

REC Foundation Signature Events

Signature Events offer students a unique opportunity to connect with their peers from around the world, share their enjoyment of robotics, explore new venues, and compete to qualify for the VEX Robotics World Championship. Signature Events give teams of all abilities the opportunity for an exciting robotics experience beyond their typical local or regional tournaments. This season, the REC Foundation hosted Signature Events in 7 countries across the globe.

Featured above is the Night at the Museum Signature Event hosted by NOVA SySTEMic, where 60 of the best VEX Robotics Competition teams from high schools across 31 states competed January 31-February 1 at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, VA.

JROTC Division at VEX Worlds

We are excited to partner with Army JROTC to allow Cadets to grow their skills by building, programming, and competing in the VEX Robotics Competition. New this year, JROTC cadets will compete in a specific JROTC VRC Division during the VRC portion of the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, KY, April 22-25, 2020.

REC Foundation & Tallo

Colleges and companies use Tallo to find talented people. Users create profiles to match with opportunities for scholarships, college admissions, internships, apprenticeships, jobs, and more. We are excited to work with Tallo, and will now have an opportunity to engage students and alumni, award digital badges, post scholarships, and measure impact like never before.
