How do I get a copy of my RobotEvents.com invoice?

Follow these steps:

  1. Visit RobotEvents.com
  2. Login with your user ID
  3. Click on “My Account” in the upper left-hand corner
  4. Click on “Account Dashboard” on the left side menu
  5. Click on the order number on the far right column to view/print the invoice

Can I change my order type from PO to check or credit card for team and event registration orders through Robot Events?

Yes, please contact accounting@roboticseducation.org.

Can I change my order type from PO to check or credit card when ordering product through VEXrobotics.com?

Yes, please contact sales@vexrobotics.com.

What is the refund policy of the REC Foundation?

For event registration fees, contact the Event Partner listed for the tournament on RobotEvents.com. The REC Foundation does not provide refunds for team registration fees.

We are a team that competes outside of the United States, what currency does the REC Foundation accept for payment?

All fees paid to the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, whether by wire transfer or a physical check, must be paid in USD (US dollars).

How do I send a wire transfer for team registrations or event registrations to the REC Foundation? Are there any fees associated with doing a wire transfer?

Event Registration

Why can I not register for a VEX Robotics Competition event?

VEX teams must be registered and paid for to sign up for an event. Please note that a purchase order is considered payment and that a copy of the purchase order must be received and not just the number.

Team Registration

I forgot my password, but when I click on “Forgot Your Password?” nothing happens.

Some organizations block password reset emails. If you suspect that this may have happened, please contact your REC Foundation Regional Support Manager. They can help you get a new password.

Where is my VEX Robotics Competition Welcome Kit?

VEX Robotics Welcome Kits ship as soon as payment is received. Make sure that your accounting department actually sent the payment or purchase order. Please note that Welcome Kits only ship to the initial team number, not additional suffixes. If payment has been sent and you don’t receive the kit within a week (for US customers), then contact sales@vexrobotics.com or (903) 453-0802. If you are outside the US and Canada, please contact your REC Foundation Regional Support Manager for help.

I received the wrong license plate for my VEX robot. What should I do?

If you receive the wrong license plates, please contact support@vexrobotics.com or (903) 453-0802, and we will get the correct license plates to your team.

Why didn’t our team get the VEX Robotics team number that we requested?

Most low team numbers are already taken or reserved. The system allows you to request a team number, but there is no guarantee that your team will get the requested number.

This year, RobotEvents tells you immediately if the team number that you entered is not available.
