Event Partner Update – March 2017
EVENT PARTNER NEWSLETTER
Event Partner Planning!
As the season comes to a close, this is a great time of year to be in touch with your Regional Support Manager to begin conversations about event planning for the next season. It’s also an opportunity to do a little spring cleaning on your RobotEvents.com account. Be sure to check that your contact information, including email and mailing address, is up to date and current.
Finally, the Event Partner section on the VEX Robotics Forum is another great location to share information, connect with other Event Partners, and ask questions. If you are not yet part of the EP VEX Forum, please provide your VEX Forum user name and email address to your Regional Support Manager and request to join today!

EP Summit July 10-14, 2017!
The annual Event Partner Summit is set for July 10-14, 2017, in Louisville, KY! It was a great event last year featuring lots of new game information, program detail, planning to prep for the season, as well as some entertainment. So, please consider joining us in Louisville and fill out the 2017 Event Partner Summit Interest Form today. Completion of the form will help us gauge attendance and begin planning the sessions. Space is limited and interested EPs will be contacted in the coming months with more information on how to register for the Summit. Please contact your Regional Support Manager with any specific questions about the Summit.
VEX Worlds Volunteers!
Volunteers are needed for all positions each day, and we are in greatest need of those who can help an entire day or multiple days. The new extended competition format will not only give you more choices of shifts to better fit your schedule, but will also result in vast improvements in check-in, meals and snack breaks, and the volunteer parking process.
We are excited to announce a new volunteer scheduling platform that will allow self-scheduling online (note that shifts will become available as the event gets closer), making it easy to select and view volunteer shifts from your computer or mobile device. Learn more about the opportunities available, and register in our new Shiftboard system today in order to be notified when shifts are ready to view shortly. Not Getting These E-mails?
Many organizations automatically block group e-mails. You have two options:
1) Request that your IT department “White List” emails from mail.vresp.comand/or white list e-mails from the
following IP addresses: 22.214.171.124/24 126.96.36.199/24 188.8.131.52/24
2) Make sure the alternate email address in your RobotEvents.com team account is different — not a school address.
