The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation seeks to increase student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by engaging students in hands-on, sustainable and affordable curriculum-based robotics engineering programs.

By partnering with over 50 organizations, universities, and colleges to offer a scholarship program, the REC Foundation hopes to encourage students in our programs to continue their education and pursue careers in STEM.

The "Steve Sanghi Scholarship Award" is for Arizona students who are participants in VEX Robotics Qualified Competitions. Arizona students participating in any Qualified VEX tournaments are encouraged to apply for this $1,000 per academic year scholarship ($500 per semester) – which may be renewable for up to four years.
Sullivan University is pleased to offer scholarships valued at $1.6 million to VRC participants who place 1st, 2nd or 3rd at regional, state and world competitions. With their $10,000 Scholarship, Tallo wants to help high school seniors who are planning to pursue higher education in Fall 2021, but may need help making ends meet.
The BHW Group scholarship is available for women who are pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree and are majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics during the 2022 school year.

University of Advancing Technology is offering a renewable scholarship to applicants with a 3.5 CGPA or higher.
The Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Denver offers multiple scholarships to admitted students totaling $250,000. Scholarships range in value and are based on either financial need or academic merit. Applicants must be enrolled in an engineering or computer science field to qualify. The Women in Aerospace Foundation are offering academic merit scholarships to those interested in pursuing a career in the aerospace industry.
As part of the partnership between the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation and the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), WPI has established scholarships for VEX Robotics participants. Each year WPI will award a grand prize scholarship of $80,000 ($20,000 per year, for four years) and two runner-up scholarships of $10,000 ($2,500 per year, for four years).
