Diversity and Inclusion Fund

When you become an REC Foundation supporter, you will help make robotics and STEM education affordable, accessible, and sustainable for more than a million students globally.

The REC Foundation Diversity and Inclusion Fund was established to create cultural equity in STEM education and empower all to become their own champions. By providing communities access to hands-on robotics education programs that teach 21st century workforce skills, we seek to engage all students to become involved in and explore STEM programs and careers, regardless of their background.
Your donation will go directly to our diversity and inclusion efforts to start new teams in underrepresented communities. Your support will make a difference, and inspire the workforce of tomorrow.

NRSC VEX Robotics Competition

On March 2, 2019, we hosted the first-ever student robotics tournament in the Southeast region with robotics teams comprised of all Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in partnership with the NTID Regional STEM Center (NRSC at the North Carolina School for the Deaf).

Native American Participation

During the 2018- 2019 season, we delivered the VEX Robotics Competition and VEX IQ Challenge to dozens of Native American schools primarily in Florida, Arizona, and Oklahoma, reaching over 1,000 Native American students annually.

By embracing STEM curriculum, Inspiration All Star Nekoda Altaha advanced and enriched White Mountain Apache Reservation students’ futures by implementing REC Foundation and VEX Robotics programs into their community.
