The VEX family of competitions, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the largest and fastest growing middle school and high school robotics program globally with more than 20,000 teams from 50 countries playing in over 1,700 tournaments worldwide. Each year, an exciting engineering challenge is presented in the form of a game.
For the 2018-19 season, participants in the VEX IQ Challenge are playing Next Level. For the 2018-19 season, participants in the VEX Robotics Competition and VEX U are playing Turning Point.
The object of the game is to attain the highest score by scoring and stacking colored Hubs in Building Zones, removing Bonus Hubs from the Hanging Structure, and by Parking or Hanging on the Hanging Bar.
The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by High Scoring or Low Scoring Caps, Toggling Flags, and by Alliance Parking or Center Parking Robots on the Platforms.
