Summer Qualifying Event - VEX IQ Grit & Grind Butte County Blowout

This early season state qualifying event is perfect for VEX IQ Challenge teams who started their season early or teams formed from summer camps that are ready for competition. Please click learn more below to visit the registration page.

Event Registrations for 2019-2020 Season

Please make sure your teams are registered for the upcoming season as qualifying event registration is now open. Many events will be opening over the new few weeks, so make sure you don't miss out on your chance to register. All events that are posted and complete by Friday, August 30 will not have their event subject to the Early Bird Registration policy. Events posted after that date and up to Friday, September 13 will be subject to the Early Bird Registration policy.

California Event Partner Meetings

The annual Event Partner Summit took place earlier this month in Texas. We had a great dialogue with EPs from across the nation and received valuable feedback for the upcoming season.

Be sure to attend one of the these FREE CA Event Partner Summits in August:

Space is limited so please register soon. CA EP Summits will cover planning for the upcoming season, changes to both VEX IQ and VRC events, qualifying criteria and the CA state championships.

New Robotics Mentor or Coach for next season?

If you are changing who manages your school or program's teams, make sure to contact us so we can transfer the account. Registration for the 2019-2020 season is now open so please make sure to renew teams and don't create new ones with different numbers as this makes team support more challenging.

August Game Manual Updates

Don't forget there are scheduled Game Manual updates coming on August 15. These updates will include the revised Awards Appendices for both VEX IQ and VEX VRC. Please also stay tuned for the revised Judge Guide and Design Award Rubric that will also be released.

Girl Scouts Grants - VEX Mia Kits

If you are or know of a Girl Scout troop in your area who would like VEX Mia Kits for their troop, the RECF and VEX have created grants to provide these awesome kits exclusively to Girl Scout troops across America. The kits provide a simple and reusable way to introduce robotics fundamentals. The troop leader will have to create a account and then can apply for the grant below (it takes less than 5 minutes):
