The REC Foundation is pleased to work with a number of organizations who share our interest in providing students with hands-on, affordable, and sustainable robotics engineering programs that advance their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We proudly recognize the following organizations and appreciates their continued support.

Alabama Institute for Deaf & Blind

AIDB collaborated with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf to form the NTID Regional STEM Center (NRSC), which is housed on the campus of AIDB in Talladega, AL. The mission of the NRSC is to promote STEM educational initiatives and career awareness for students who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in primary and secondary schools.

AISES

The mission of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is to substantially increase the representation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in (STEM studies and careers. Through the quality and reach of our programs and the longevity and devoted commitment of its “family,” AISES is the leader in STEM opportunity in Indian Country. Members from over 200 tribal nations are represented within AISES, and AISES enjoys the support and partnership of corporate, government, academic, and tribal decision-makers.

ARM Institute

The ARM Institute was created in January 2017 through Carnegie Mellon University winning the bid to create a robotics-focused Manufacturing USA Institute and now operates as a separate non-profit. We exist to strengthen U.S. manufacturing through innovations in advanced manufacturing technology, particularly robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), and prepare the workforce to work alongside these technologies. We foster collaboration between those who can create & maintain robotics with those who can leverage it for maximum economic impact. Working across industry, government, and academia, we leverage a robust ecosystem to fulfill our vision and mission.

CREATE Foundation

The mission of the CREATE Foundation is to inspire and prepare the youth of today to become the engineers and scientists of tomorrow. This will be done via competitive robotics programs that are compelling, accessible, inspiring, and safe.

Great Minds in STEM

Great Minds in STEM's vision is to be a national leader in keeping America technologically strong by promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math careers especially in underserved communities. Their mission is to inspire and motivate underserved students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), to enlighten and engage families, educators, communities and employers to assist underserved students pursuing STEM careers, to inspire our nation through recognition of the achievements of Hispanics and other role models in STEM, to enable and leverage Hispanic STEM talent to play a leadership role, to collaborate and cooperate nationally within the STEM community.

ITEEA

The International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) is the professional organization for technology, innovation, design, and engineering educators. Our mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and engineering and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits. ITEEA strengthens the profession through leadership, professional development, membership services, publications, and classroom activities.

PLTW

Project Lead The Way is the nation's leading provider of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs. Through world-class K-12 curriculum, high-quality teacher professional development, and outstanding partnerships, PLTW is helping students develop the skills needed to succeed in the global economy.

TechPoint Foundation

TechPoint Foundation for Youth offers Robotics Start-Up Grants that cover the cost of all of the start-up resources needed to launch a VEX IQ robotics team, including training and ongoing support, for all Indiana Elementary and Middle Schools.

NSBE

NSBE’s mission is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

Student Association for STEM Advocacy

The Student Association for STEM Advocacy (SASA) is a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation with its mission to educate, engage and mobilize students to promote the expansion of and access to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs.

SkillsUSA

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel.

TSA

The Technology Student Association (TSA) enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs.
