Event Partners (EPs) are the core of VEX Competition programs. It is their passion and involvement that grow and sustain the events and in many cases even the teams themselves. The role of an EP is to deliver competition opportunities in their region.
The EP acts as the coordinator of a planning team that organizes VEX Competition tournaments, leagues, scrimmages, and/or workshops. The EP is the leader who acts as the liaison between the REC Foundation and the planning team that keeps things moving. The key tasks are date and site selection, budget, volunteer recruiting and management, volunteer training, team communication, event execution, results, and follow-up.
